Summarize where your work term was conducted and where your particular work group fits into the overall organization. Clearly describe the company and general goal of your work group. Provide the organization chart for the organization and identify where your department fit, with the department’s goals.

Did the tasks you were asked to perform give you a broader understanding of your specialization i.e. Marketing, Management, HR - explain?
Were your tasks the tasks you expected to perform? If not, was this a good or a disappointing experience? Why?
Please provide an assessment of the training process you received including possible improvements.

Learning Objectives
You are expected to summarize what you have learned during your work term experience.
What courses prepared you most for your internship? How did they prepare you – elaborate?
Using Choice theory, take one of the challenges you faced (that were mentioned in your 40 hour video), and explain it in terms of choice theory diagram. Then explain how you changed and how this affected the outcome in order to overcome this challenge – once again using choice theory.

What, if anything, could you have done more to enrich your work experience?
What, if anything, could your employer have done more to enrich your work experience?
Did the work term experience affirm your planned career path? Why?

Skills and Knowledg:
Describe the skills and knowledge required to fulfil your work term responsibilities.
Discuss how your knowledge base and personal skill set evolved during your work term experiences – i.e. How did this internship help you to improve your skill set?

Outcomes
Provide physical evidence and explain in detail a particular project that you worked on within your internship and that you are proud of. This should be something that will benefit the company. Some examples of these projects could be (but is not limited to):- (10 marks)
Research and analysis on a problem faced by the company
Competitor analysis
Trend analysis
Change management report
Service management report
Creation of sales material (PowerPoint presentation)
Designing marketing material or social media material
HR Plans
Training and Development Plans
Workforce Planning
Conclusion
The conclusion should include a brief description of the impact your participation in the internship program has had on you personally, academically and professionally.

Things to Remember
This process is designed to capture your insights into the transition from classroom to internship. The final presentation is a continuation of the video diary. We encourage you to be candid in your observations and comments as these reports will not be shared with your internship supervisor.
Length: The presentation should be a maximum of 30 minutes in duration
Marks will be assigned for:
Over all flow/content of the presentation and oral communication
Critical analysis of the internship
Project worked on within the company (depth of knowledge displayed and ability to communicate your efforts concisely)
Synthesis and application of what you have learned in your Diploma Program at ACK
Presentation layout 6x6 rule and usage of imagery (2 marks)
