Effective Listening

Delivering the message is only half of the communication process. Listening is another important element. The Unit 4 intellipath® lessons describe the listening process and barriers to listening that can cause miscommunication.

· In your main post, describe a time when you felt your message was not heard and what listening barriers may have caused this. You can share a real-life example or one that you make up.

· When replying to at least 2 peers, consider sharing a listening strategy that you could use to improve their situation.

When writing your posts, mention ideas or strategies from the intellipath lessons. This will help you write better posts, and it is a required part of this assignment.
