Instructions
Directions: Your final paper topic needs to be well thought out. Make sure to include why you are proposing your topic, the perspectives you plan to include, and the pros / cons of the topic. Below are a good and bad example of a proposed topic.
Two important points:
1. Do not email me your topics. You must submit the assignment in Brightspace.
2. Do not suggest multiple topics and ask for my opinion. You must select a topic on your own.
Good & Bad Submission Example:
· Good Example: For my final paper I want to write about nuclear power. I believe there are positive and negative benefits of using nuclear power vs. other forms of energy generation. There is a lot of research to support both sides of the debate. It is important to reduce pollutants that cause negative societal outcomes and I believe nuclear power can be part of the solution.
· Bad Example: For my final paper topic I will write about nuclear power because it's interesting and it's part of the future.
