WRI 102: Research Paper Proposal Spring 2020 A research paper proposal must include:

1. Research paper title/APA cover sheet 2. Introductory paragraph (up to one page) including:

a. Topic and why it should matter to your audience b. Research question c. Thesis in deductive argument form d. Definition of key terms and ideas (with in text citations)

3. An outline of the proposed organization of the paper. 4. A References page for the sources used in the proposal 5. Annotated Bibliography in APA 7th edition format of 6 possible scholarly sources for the

paper, including: a. Summary of the main idea and key points of each source b. Summary of author’s qualifications and credentials

6. Cut and paste the checklist below on to the last page of your proposal.

25% of grade total. DUE on Thursday, April 30th by end of class. NO LATE PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Late papers or incomplete papers will receive a zero. You must upload this assignment in PDF format, or you will not receive a grade. NO EXCEPTIONS for not reading and/or following instructions.
