Task: Listen to this episode from Dig: A History Podcast

1. What was most the most surprising thing to you about the long fight for suffrage? As you answer this question be sure to think beyond just a simply fact you learned. Why is this important to a broader understanding of American history?

· I expect you to show me you're thinking. I have heard this podcast many times, so I know what it says, but I don't know what you are thinking. I don't know how you are processing the information. Give me a little insight into your intellectual world.
