Assignment #4: Design Charrette
Total Points: 50
char rette
/shuh-ret/
noun
: any collaborative session in which a group of designers drafts a solution to a design problem
I’d like you to redesign a sample page from a report about broadband Wi-Fi access in luxury hotels. Use the characteristics of effective information design discussed in class and in a recorded lecture. Before you begin, review those elements carefully; you’ll be using all of them to redesign this page. You are not responsible for editing the text.
You will find a digital copy of the page on in the Design Charrette folder in the Business Communication section of our Blackboard site. Download the page, redesign that document on screen, save a copy, and upload the first draft using the Turnitin link on Blackboard. That draft will then be peer-reviewed. Please do not include your name on the redesigned page.
