Qualitative is a method, but not a design. The recommended easiest design is qualitative descriptive. I recently found some articles that can be helpful to you. Use thematic analysis as the actual analysis method inside your qual descriptive study. See last article.

Within the umbrella of qualitative descriptive you need specific how to for doing the coding of your data. Thematic analysis is common. I’ve attached an article on it when I returned your paper—if I didn’t then ask for it on an email.
