In particular I want to you to think about what the benefits (or non-benefits) to society using Theatre in a political setting/context to promote and expose culture to specific political values and mores, what are the potential downsides (if there are any in your opinion)?

I want you to reflect on the dangers of using of Theatre/film (or art in general) as a political propaganda tool. What are the dangers and can you think of any examples in modern US History where films and/or theatre could be seen as being used for political propaganda purposes (even if they are not directly financed/funded by the US Govt.).
