INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION DETAILS
Due date
• You must inform your Instructional Assistant of your topic and partner
via email by Friday, February 12 at 11:59 PM EST (Please include your
tutorial section number in the subject line).
• This assignment is due by Friday, February 26 at 11:59 PM EST.
Submission
Details
• You may complete this assignment individually or with a partner.
• Presentations will be recorded and submitted on Avenue 2 Learn, under
assignments (MP4 files only).
Length Your presentation must be 8 - 10 minutes in duration.
Topic &
Content
Your purpose is to inform the audience on a topic, with clear and accurate
information. You may choose your own topic.
Suggestions for topics:
• Impact of pollution
• Sustainable fashion
• Poverty and famine
• Health care advances
• E-Sports (Online gaming)
• Choose your own (please check with your Instructional Assistant!)
Structure
Your presentation must include an introduction, body, and conclusion.
For this assignment, you will use 3 different visual aids (pictures, graphs, charts, or tables containing data) connected your topic (with a proper reference).
Style
You may use PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi, or another presentation program to help you deliver your presentation. You will be expected to deliver content while referring to your visuals to support your presentation.

INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Decide whether you are going to complete your presentation individually or
with a partner.
2. Choose a topic to present that you are familiar with.
3. Research your topic to find more information.
4. Decide which information you want to include in your presentation (remember
that you have limited time, so choose wisely).
5. Organize your information for your presentation (introduction, body, and
conclusion).
6. Decide which visual aids to include with your content.
7. Practice and prepare rehearsing your presentation delivery (body language,
vocal projection, etc.).
8. Record your presentation with your face present on the screen. Save your
video as an MP4 file.
9. Once you are happy with the video, upload it to Avenue 2 Learn. Please, check
to ensure that the video is uploaded correctly.
