Consider the scenario of Tom presented in chapter 1. 

1. What would have happened if Tom had been unable to access accurate information on the patient

2. Discuss a time when you built new knowledge from information and applied that knowledge to a specific nursing situation. What forms of technology did you use to acquire, record, process, or disseminate that knowledge?
