The job description should include the following:

1. Identification Information: this includes the job title which reflects the position with respect to department and hierarchy within the department, such as Marketing Manager, Customer Service Representative, or Inventory Control

2. Job Summary: a short statement that summarizes the job’s duties, responsibilities, and place in the organizational structure. (5 Points)

3. Job Duties and Responsibilities: explains what is done, how it is done, and why it is done. Typically, a description will include three to five of the most important responsibilities and each responsibility statement begins with an action verb.
