Identifying Key Points Names:

Review the article “Why the US Can’t Immediately Accept Refugees” and create a list of reasons why the US (government, NPO’s, or citizens) should be careful when accepting refugees and/or how refugees can create ‘problems’ in their new country. First, identify a passage that ‘states’ the idea and present the quote using quotation marks. Then, below the quotation, create a paraphrase of the quote -> present the idea in your own words. Please follow this format:

1. Quote: "Here is the original passage from the article with the exact wording."

    Paraphrase: Create a unique restatement of the idea by changing the wording and structure of the sentence.
