QUESTION 1.
a) What is triangle routing in Mobile IP?
b) How is triangle routing problem solved in Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6, respectively?
QUESTION 2.
A snap-shot of an ad hoc network is shown in the figure.
Describe briefly the process taken to do the following:
(a) How can you create a route from the source node 6 to the destination node 23 using DSR algorithm?
(b) What changes would you do in part (a) if you use the AODV protocol?
(c) Repeat part (a) using TORA routing.
You do NOT need to draw a figure for each step. Use words to describe.
QUESTION 3.
A snap-shot of an ad hoc network is shown in the figure. Assume OLSR routing protocol is used in the network.
(a) Find the optimal Multipoint Relay node for node 5.
(b) Describe the steps that the link state information of node 5 is forwarded to all other nodes in the network, i.e., node 5 sends the link state information to which nodes, which nodes then forward the information to which other nodes, etc.
