Human enhancement is the alterations of a human body internally or externally through natural, artificial, and/or technological means. Enhancement can be anything from a rhinoplasty to adding fluoride to water. The advancement of technology and the existence of techniques such as CRISPR, gene-editing, and others has made it possible for us to have children with great mental capabilities, physical strength, or invulnerable to a certain disease. However, many ethical dimensions rise whenever we strive for perfection in our society.
