White Paper Topic:

How much of our data is really private?

Audience: Average social media users

Main Idea(s): I feel as though the average social media user is very unaware of just how much of their data is being shared, whether legally or illegally. My white paper will be tackling the issues associated with data privacy and some solutions that can be implemented or further enforced.

Arguments:

· Data networks are global, but data protection is local

· Solution= Revise current data protection laws and policies or make new ones

· Facebook has been caught multiple times soliciting user information unknowingly to 3rd party platforms

· Solution= Reprimand companies like facebook and revise guidelines and policy

· There's no privacy in public spaces on the internet

· Solution= Revise guidelines for social media platforms
