Homework Assignment 3 Audio Lecture
This week, you are moving forward on the work of the written Term Project and starting Homework Assignment #3.
As a reminder, this paper is a continuation of the work you have done on Homework Assignments #1 and 2. You are to continue working on the same category of business.
You will complete the next steps of creating your private label products.
You will present your product costing. Please review the information in the module and be sure to:
First, fully cost at least one of your styles and set a retail price using the sample cost sheet/labor rates noted.
Second, establish retail prices for your complete line. Discuss how your retail prices make sense with respect to the competition and to your target market.
You will also present your product specifications. Again, please review the information in the module.
You will prepare a spec sheet for at least one of your garments using the sample spec sheet. Be sure to include a garment sketch and key measurements for a full size run.
And, you will also present your fabrication and performance specifications. Here I am looking for you to determine and discuss the fabrics you selected for your products. What are they? Why did you select them? What are performance characteristics you are looking for in your products?
This homework assignment is due at the end of Week 9. When your full Term Project is due, you will put this material together with your other Homework Assignments to submit the complete Term Project Assignment.
Some additional notes on this assignment:
This section of the paper should be 3-page (minimum) text report. Any images you include can be included in the body of the work or at the end, as an Appendix, but space taken up by images does not count towards the page count.
All work must be completed in the APA style. Written work must be double-spaced in Times New Roman, 12-pt font.
Information of all kinds, whether directly quoted or used as a reference, including books, magazines, images and websites, must be properly cited in the APA format throughout your work. All assignments must include a Cover Page and References page at the end.
Direct quotes in excess of 10% of your paper will be cause for downgrading.
Please separate the different sections of the paper with headings or subtitles.
