Homework 1
As with all projects, the first step of project management begins by identifying a need/opportunity (the idea) and conceptualizing a valuable solution.
Identify a need in your home, at work, or in your community and draft a proposed project-based solution.
Share your proposed project in the following format:
Goal: What will your project accomplish?
Opportunity: What is the problem?
Solution: How will your project resolve the problem and help accomplish the goal?

Homework 2
As you are aware, there are oftentimes more needs and opportunities than resources. Project selection involves evaluating the various needs and opportunities and then deciding which of those should move forward as projects. Project selection involves looking at both tangible and intangible benefits and consequences. In addition, both quantitative and qualitative factors are usually weighted. Please share an example when there were more needs or opportunities than resources. What process was followed to determine which needs or opportunities would more forward as projects? Did you agree with the process? Why or why not? If you had to make suggestions for future decision making, how would you improve the process?
Just 250 words was enough
