Directions: Write an identification paragraph for all the key term. An identification paragraph addresses the 5 Ws (Who, What, When, Where, and Why) of the key term. For example, if the term was “Martin Luther” the paragraph would look like this:

Example: Martin Luther

Martin Luther was a German monk turned religious reformer that established the Lutheran church. He authored the Ninety-five Theses which criticized the Roman church’s sale of indulgences. He wrote the Theses in 1517 C.E. Luther was from Saxony in the Holy Roman Empire. His work as a reformer caused a splintering in Western Christendom where many left the Roman church for either his sect of Lutherans, or other reformed churches like the Anabaptists, and resulted in much religious strife culminating in numerous wars like the War of the Schmalkaldic League.
