WRG Project #3
Hello,
So, i have a few questions. It says in the instructions that we should have our citations on each "slide". I was just wondering how this will work? Should it be in MLA or other at the bottom of our citing, should we include in text citations?
Also, in the instructions its says you can choose Story Journey or Story Tour. When I log into the application, the only options I see is Story Journal vs Story Journey, I cant seem to see Story Journey. So, I was just wondering if that was a typo or if I was missing a type of Story Map.
Thanks

· Please include properly structured bibliographic citations (APA, MLA, any other recognized style of your choice as long as applied consistently) at the end of each slide's text. Since text will not be very long, no need to include in-text citations.
· The instructions have been corrected to refer to the Story Map Journal mode, which is acceptable for this project.
WRG #3
Hello,
For project #3 we are asked to use at least 10 locations for our story map that all must be tied to a defined location. So for example if I want to focus on climate change in the Sub-Saharan African realm, would the realm be considered my defined location?
And any states or cities within that realm serve as my 10 locations ?
Thanks.

By "defined location", I mean that each individual point on the map should be associated with a specific geographic location (i.e. you shouldn't have any points on the map that are arbitrarily placed). Therefore you are not required to confine yourself to working within only one realm, and points on the map can correspond to cities or any other geographic features of interest. You certainly can choose to focus in on one or more realms, or you could take a more global focus.

In regards to the prompt for WRG 3 that asks us to explore the connections between climate change and urbanization, are we allowed to explore any kind of relationship between the two? For example, instead of exploring how climate change effects urbanization, are we allowed to focus on how urbanization effects climate change? And as a side note, can we email you with our general ideas to get feedback/see if it is an appropriate topic? Thank you in advance.

You are free to use this project to explore any facet or dimension of the connections between climate change and urbanization. Given that the requirements of the project are rather open-ended, simply defining a focus/approach for the project will require some effort as well as some background research. You are welcome to get in touch with us for feedback about your project topic, but you might find it even more productive to attend office hours with either myself or your TA as this would allow for a more extensive conversation with the objective of refining your project topic and ideas.
