Hello Class, I'm Alexis Schlottman. Currently, I am working as a Vet Tech while in school to obtain my BSN. I am familiar with a few of these listed outcomes, However one stood out to me the most.
As a Vet Tech, Identifying the distinctions of varying information need of Primary and Secondary audiences, documenting info, applying design principles, and utilizing conventional genres are an important skill for effective communication. How i use these outcomes in my practice is knowing the primary audience, meaning the pet owners affected by the given information about their animal. The secondary audience includes other vet professionals, students, or researchers. They require more technical or in-depth background and/or expertise. Documenting Info by collecting data from patient and doctor and putting together treatment plans based of said data. Even though I am somewhat familiar with these given outcomes, i could always use help to expand my knowledge on the subject.
