write a 3–4 page reflective essay that explores how this course has shaped understanding of Latinx communities and their diverse histories, identities, and struggles .
Drawing from topics such as transnationalism, diaspora, panethnicity, Latina feminisms, queer Latinidad, language and education, social movements, and racial discourse, reflect on what you have learned about the experiences of Chicano/Mexican, Central American, South American, and Caribbean-origin communities in the U.S.
Consider how the course has challenged or deepened your thinking about race, power, and resistance, and reflect on the personal relevance of these themes in your own life or community.
Discuss how gaining a deeper understanding of the Latinx experience can contribute to building a more inclusive, just, and equitable American society for all.

Requirements
Length
· Your essay should be 3 to 4 pages long ( minimum 3 full pages, not counting the Works Cited page). Papers shorter than 3 full pages will not meet the minimum requirement.
Sources & Citations
· Include at least 4 credible sources.
· At least 50% (2 out of 4) must be scholarly journal/peer-reviewed articles.
· Use in-text citations following MLA 9th edition guidelines.
· Provide a properly formatted Works Cited page.
· Use the OCC Library OneSearch or other academic databases to locate scholarly sources.
