Internship Description/Competency Gap Analysis/Interest Inventory– Part 1 & Part II
Part I - Briefly describe your internship by integrating your responses from the following questions: what type of organization are you working for, what is the organization’s mission/purpose, what is the department/unit/group where you are interning and what does that department provide the organization, and finally, what are you going to be responsible for doing over the course of your internship.
Part II - Along with describing your organization/internship, please identify 4 – 5 competencies that you would like to improve. Include the action steps you will be taking that relate to the development of these competencies. For this part, please list your competencies, then use bullet points to identify very specific action steps you will take to accomplish your developmental activities.
