We chose three public companies: City Bank, McDonald’s, and Lyft before. With the professor’s suggestion, we consider the bank to be kind of difficult for us. One of the difficulties is that banks won’t post part of the information to the public, so it’s kind of hard to collect the information to analyze. Also, Lyft has been chosen by other groups. McDonald’s is a rather successful company, there is not too much development potential, which has less research value. Therefore, we picked up Shake Shack to do. It was founded in 2000 by Danny Meyer, and started as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in 2001. As their growing popularity, they open many stores and grow its international influence, which causes more people to taste their deliciousness. We can also find Shake Shack in San Francisco. Shake Shack Inc. has more than 249 stores both domestically and internationally, usually in stand-alone restaurants and shopping malls. Shake Shack was voted "Best Burger in New York" by New York Magazine. And it was one of the fastest-growing food stores, finally becoming a public company launching an initial public offering of shares at the end of 2014.

We chose shake shack for three reasons. First, the restaurant's popularity. Their delicious food makes people willing to try them, also as we introduced before, as its growing popularity, it became the fastest growing company. Second, people brand loyalty. Nowadays, young people in society pay attention to whether they are fashionable. When you say that you like to eat shake shack, you will feel very fashionable.
