GROUND RULES EXERCISE

Instructions: You are the lead project manager for an exercise to be held during the University’s Residency Weekend (Friday – Sunday). You will be assigned to work with a group of students that you do not necessarily know personally but are within your current course. The weekend assignment will require you to complete a project that will consume most of the weekend and require the group to work closely. As lead project manager it is your responsibility to draft the initial version of the ground rules under which your project team will operate. You will:

1) Explain how you will establish rules for the following topics and

2) What specific actions you will take to ensure the adherence to these ground rules.

There is no minimum word count but each topic should be thoroughly addressed to ensure team understanding, guidance and compliance with the established rules. Reference to the textbook is not necessary but if you do choose to reference the textbook you must properly cite and reference the source.
