Self-Review
Since this is only a rough draft I haven’t talked about everything that I have meant to in this paper. For every paragraph not including my introduction and conclusion, I have analyzed a chapter of The Lord of The Rings and Philosophy: One Book to Rule Them All and then compared the contents and meanings of those chapters to a possible event that could happen in real life where those ideals and morals expressed in the Lord of the Rings might be applicable. However, there are still many more concepts within each chapter that I have yet to discuss but do plan too. I believe that I’ve done rather well to make this paper easy to follow and provided examples that are simple to understand. I’d like to know how you think I can improve my paper. Can you think of a good real-world example where the moral values expressed in the Lord of The Rings might come into play? If you are familiar with the Lord of The Rings, is there a specific point in the story that I should make note of in my paper? Do you think that I have made a valid argument and provide good examples? One other question I’d like to ask is if you think my argument is relative. Most of us basically grew up watching cartoons that express all of the moral values expressed in the Lord of The Rings like heroism, courage, and bravery but If the children of today are growing up being exposed to the same moral practices then is there really any need to worry about their morality?
