Standard 1: Language Proficiency, Interpersonal, Interpretive and Presentational

Competency 1

Candidates in different language instructor arrangement schedules have a higher proficiency level in the focus languages they will teach. They are competent to interact excellently in interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational contexts. Candidates communicate in interpersonal mode at a minimal level of Advanced Low. For global programs where candidates are preparing to learn English as a foreign language, candidates talk at the proficiency level identical to the above categories. Candidates whose original language whose prime language is Spanish speaks English at Advanced Low. Candidates whose original language is Arabic speaks English at Immediate High.

The candidates envision and portray vocal, printed, and video texts by analyzing the significant concepts and encouraging particulars, deriving, and understanding the writer's aim and ethical angle and offering a personal interpretation of the book (Faculty governance & resources. (2018). scholar present details, ideas and concepts to audiences and learners with language proficiency characteristics of a minimal standard of Intermediate High according to the target language as described above (Culture, dialect, works of literature and Concept from other subjects which are standard 2:1), ( Professional Development, Advocacy and Ethical Standards which is standard 6:1 )

First, the college to communicate in the interpersonal mode of communication of a minimal level of "Advanced Low" or "intermediate high" depending on the language being trained. Second, the college to clarify vocal printed and video texts by determining both actual and figurative knowledge. Third, the faculty to present vocal and recorded information to learners, using language at a minimal level of "Advanced Low" or "Intermediate High," depending on the objective language being trained (Faculty governance & resources, 2018). Lastly, the expectations for interpretive reading, interpersonal, and presentational writing also depends on the target language the teacher teaches. The style is described in their writing systems.
