Please submit your proposal for your final paper on BB under the appropriate discussion thread. The format of your proposal should be comprised of the following: 1) A short paragraph detailing your study proposal for directed studies including the study's purpose, hypothesis(es), and proposed methods (note: if you are in directed studies currently, you can submit your abstract for this part) and 2) An annotated bibliography in the form of 3 APA-style citations followed by short descriptions of the research articles in your own words (i.e. "This article shows....; It relates to my topic area because..."). The proposal should be about 1-2 pages in total. To locate the 3 required research articles, go to the library's homepage (auctr.edu), click on "find materials", then under "E-resources" click on "Databases," and then click on the letter P to find and click on "PsychInfo." This will open EbscoHost (will open on any campus computer; you will have to log in if accessing remotely of from a personal device). Now click on "Advanced Search" and select "Peer-Reviewed" (check box) and click on "Empirical Study" under "Methods" at the bottom of the page. Now enter search terms to begin looking for articles. The more specific the better! If we do not own a copy of the article, you can order it through ILL (interlibrary loan).
