Generation Z

Will Qatar’s youth generation z be as financially successful as their parents’ generation? yes, this generation is very competitive and would like it if people judge them on their own work. Throughout these years, it is easier to get noticed than in the older times. We now have media which is the fastest way to get people’s attention. The people in this generation are easily fascinated by everything  (including pets, toys, etc…). People have evolved and the kids this generation have talents that no one had before, which catches everyone’s attention, even Millenials’. I have also noticed that the people of this generation support each other, which helps people to succeed and achieve their dreams easier than the generations before since the generations before had a harder time doing so (for example discrimination, lack of money, immigration). There are reasons why generation z can or cannot be successful like having strict parents, having connections, they are spoiled by everyone.

Qatar’s youth generation z is going to be as financially successful as their parents because there are a lot of places that need people and a lot of places have good offers. There are a lot of opportunities throughout this generation. Media is a great example of an opportunity for this new generation to earn money. There could be teenagers trying to advertise their small companies, or even just do what they like in front of a camera and they would earn money easily. The most famous activity known to earn money online is dancing and cooking. Some people even earn money by posting idiotic jokes called “memes” which are pronounced “meems” not “me-me.”

This generation has many hard-working grandparents and parents that can give them jobs without working, through connections. Even though they have to work, they don’t work as hard as the other people who don’t have connections. Not saying that it’s a good thing but they at least make sure that they have a job later on rather than suffering, waiting, and becoming poor. It’s easier to get connections now than back then since most people could hardly get jobs. So this generation is most probably going to be even more successful than their parents not on an equal level as them.

In another opinion, the new generation (z) could also have a lower chance of being successful. Parents now spoil their children because they don’t want them to live in a strict household just like they did. So they just do everything for them. When children are raised on getting whatever they want, by time, the parents lose their respect and the child does whatever he/she wants. Then comes peer pressure. Peer pressure is the influence of members of one's peer group. For example, uninspired people pressure others with their ignorant ideas, leading the privileged people to fall into the bad tracks and lose their success track. In the olden days, the people that got jobs worked harder than we have to now. So the people grow up and get kids, and force those kids on what they used to do because they worked so hard on it. Their kids would find their parent’s job mundane if they had it in their hearts to do something else that they love.

Weighing up both sides of the argument, that will Qatar’s youth generation z be as financially successful as their parents’ generation by having strict parents, having connections and being spoiled by everyone. From my point of view, I think that generation z will be more successful because they have all the opportunities in front of them. One advice given is to keep doing what you like and ignore people whose job in life is to hurt your feelings and let you down just to see you fall out of your success, and beware of the backstabbers that ruin your career.
