Gay Marriage
Gay Marriage
Introduction: With a tremendous amount of discussions regarding legalization of the same sex marriage and the gay, bisexual, lesbian and transgender rights which is known as the LGBT's community.
Thesis statement: “Gay marriage should be accepted around the world.
“TOPIC 1: Love is unconditional which gives all the more reason why gay marriage should be accepted.
Main Idea: Everyone that is for gay marriage believe that the aspects of love vary greatly, whether there is a difference in age, interest or religion. Then why would being gay/lesbian/trans evoke a problem?
Supporting Detail 1: Most probability samples used to study individuals in same-sex relationships have not been designed to assess relationship dynamics or other psychosocial variables (e.g., social support, stress) that influence relationships; thus, these data sets do not include measures that are most central to the study of close relationships, and they do not include measures specific to same-sex couples (e.g., minority stressors, legal policies) that may help explain any group differences that emerge. Ex. People who are in same-sex relationships if they are to produce valid results and/or allow comparison of results across studies, both of which are necessary to inform sound public policy (Bates & DeMaio, 2013; DiBennardo & Gates, 2014).
TOPIC 2: “Traditional” married couple is given without hesitation. The U.S government
grants these rights to legally married couples of men and women.
Main Idea: Confusion in society spreads easily to the church.
