It is important to develop an appropriate analytical plan for research because this can set the foundation for how the research will approach data analysis and interpretation. The plan should include proper identification of research questions and hypotheses, dataset to be used, review of data to determine variables to be used in the analysis, and selecting proper statistical methods and tools to be used,(“Analysis Plan in Research,” 2013). In the dissertation venture, I will need to have a clear path for an analytical plan for investigation. Particularly, addressing the dissertation topic which is the impact of Organizational Subculture has on Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intentions: a Cross-Industry Assessment. The plan needs to address the research questions will include a mediating factor of embeddedness. The dataset to be used in the investigation is primarily based on three industries. The measurement aspects include questionaries’ to addresses the same questions for all three industries. Since this is a mediation study it is important to choose the correct software which at this point based on the extensive research I am leaning towards Smart PLS.

The measurement instrument/model areas that will need to be addressed in the study include indicator reliability, internal consistency reliability, discriminant validity, and convergent validity; all which can be done through Smart PLS. The regression/structural model is that I plan to assess is the R2, effect size, and path coefficient with p-value, (Angeles, 2018).

The same description is based on industries and subculture. The statistics that would make sense to describe this sample are age, gender, education level, position level at the company. There is significant work to be conducted to construct measurable aspects in regards to what is a subculture and how it can be used in all the proposed industries: academic, chemical manufacturing, and insurance.
