Intervention Presentation and Capstone Video Reflection

My first practicum hours were spent with my cousin patricia cardenas who is a er nurse at the VA in the emergency department. She has a lot of veterans who have ptsd and abuse opioids to try to cope with the pain. 3 hours on 12/10/2021

my co worker rick Salazar who is a an IR Nurse. We discussed the quality of pt care, patient safety and the cost related problems due to the opioid abuse issues. 2 hours 12/15/2021

Danny Marmanillo is a cvicu nurse who deals with a lot of opioid abuse patients. we discussed advantages and disadvantages of technology, coordination of care and community resources, and nursing care standards and policies. 2 hours 12/20/2021

Jurgen Rovira a piccline nurse that I work with. We spoke about how to help these patients whether its an intervention or getting them counseling or a therapist. The guidance to give these patients that need help. 2 hours 12/29/2021
