Harley Davidson is the Global market leader in the motorcycle industry

It’s the fifth largest company in the motorcycle industry

The vision statement in 2009 was

“The company accomplish the dreams of travelling around the world of their customers that was inspired by different roads of the world. It enhance the desire for travelling for the customers so they can express their independence”

The organization structure of the company consist of centralized structure and control leadership style of management

The company maintain an organization structure according to the current focus on the motorcycle market in developed countries and also that suits to them

The company have two product lines; one is the Motorcycles and Related Products and the second one is Financial services

The Motorcycle Division produces customized, adventurous and high quality motorcycles

The Financial Services provides financing to their dealerships and retailers

The Dealership are existing in all other countries in the world and sell different type of Motorcycles and other Harley products.

It started its operation internationally starting by USA and than European market and than expanded to Asian market in 2009

According to 2009, the company transforming its development of product and also devotes their focus on their loyal customers

The company in 2009 decided to enter Asian market by entering India at first.

They are starting focusing on the new segment young adults (under age 35) who mostly like their product Iron 883.

From this the women especially aged 35 and 37 are getting more attracted towards motorcycles

They started to make a new image that motorcycles suits to all type of riders and believe that every customers is a custom itself.
