Finding child care

Parents have a responsibility in ensuring are taken care of with good care as they grow. Psychologists suggest that socio-emotional, physical and cognitive developments are critical and the level of care and to children will determine if it is uniform. Peisner‐Feinberg et al. (2001) outlined many reasons why parents need to find best child care. First, good child care reduces chances of children being depressed by ensuring that they socialize well with other children. Second, a good child care eliminates boredom in children due to effective frameworks laid in child care. Third, it is important to find child care to guarantee safety and comfortability of the child in preparation of joining pre-school. The main objective of this paper is to expound three major reasons and advantages why parents should find a good child care.

To start with, a parent will lower chances of his or her child being depressed since the activities in a child care will cheer up the child all through and help him or her develop healthy. Socialization with other children is one of the factors why it is important for the child. Child care also helps children in case where the parent is so depressed (Golf, Mount & Jamison, 1990). When a child is far away from a parent, he or she will therefore not get bad experience from the depressed parent. To add on this, child care fosters socialization skills by the child. This helps the child adopt best personalities.

Second, child care keeps a child involved with activities all through and therefore ensuring that they are not bored. Many researchers have agreed to the fact that children like when a sequence of activities are administered. This boosts on brain development of the child. In child care strict patterns are followed in a sequence which are maintained regularly. In addition to that, the parent is guaranteed that a child will always be in an active environment due to several objects and activities offered in child care.

Lastly, parents are also guaranteed that their children will be safe and get a good environment to prepare for pre-school. According to Peisner‐Feinberg et al. (2001), child cares employ professionals to handle, the caring of these task hence giving them a good environment to learn many skills. Professionals employed in child cares also guarantee parents that they are in safe hands (Golf, Mount & Jamison, 1990). Children are also taught language skills and techniques that help them as they prepare for pre-school, this gives them an edge over other children as the transition moves from home-based learning to school based.

As I conclude, parent can see major reasons and learn more of the importance to take your children to child cares. Finding a good childcare is good and recommended by psychologists and researchers. There are more advantages than disadvantages.
