Abstract

I am selecting the topic mobile device security topic as my final topic. Mobile device security refers to the measures designed which protect and secure the sensitive information stored on laptops, smartphones, tablets, and digital wearable devices where the main goal is to keep the mobile device secure and to prevent unauthorized access. Nowadays smartphone devices that have the android, IOS platform, and other operative services have wireless services enabled. Everyone uses mobile devices for personal, finance, entertainment, and medical applications where there are still some old generation people who hesitate to use smartphone devices due to security concerns. Hackers can easily break into the devices remotely and transfer the user's personal or sensitive information from the devices, due to that the mobile device needs higher security and ease of use. There are some hackers where they try a different type of attacks to gain the unauthorized access of the user’s applications and they inject trojans into the smartphone to infects the web search engines and modify the paged of the applications. I am going to analyze the features and security issues on the smartphone and will try to prevent the detailed threat scenarios. I will use the mobile device security paper and reference book to complete my final project.
