Final Project ARCH 2700 System Thinking/ Integrated Design You will work on this individually. Intent:

During this semester, we have covered a wide variety of topics while at the same time you were working on a studio project. This assignment will give you a chance to reflect on the semester and look at both courses holistically.

Assignment: This assignment will require both writing and diagramming and will include all the topics covered in ARCH 2700. For each topic write at least 200 words on how the topic drove or could have driven your design process and changed or could have changed your building design. Using the plans and sections from your studio design, overlay a diagram of the topic subject showing the design decision it informed. Each topic text and diagram should fit on a single 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. You will work individually.

Deliverables:

A single twelve page PDF uploaded to Blackboard that includes the following:

• A cover page with a short description and rendered perspective of your studio project.

• Ten topic pages with text and diagrams • A 400-word conclusion/summary page that describes how you did

use “System Thinking” and how you might use "System Thinking" in future design studios.
