Final Project - Step 1: 3 points

For the final project (25points) you will build a full database starting from an idea to the actual implementation of a database with a user interface. Think of a real-life scenario that requires a database (e.g., online shopping, car-rental service), submit the summary of the project’s idea on Project_step1 folder on D2L. You have the option to work by yourself or in a group (2 members/team) - If you would like to work in a group: feel free to know your classmates (either during the live session or using the Classlist&Email on D2L then agree to be in one team). The format of the Step1 submission is as follows:

• A short description on the idea (what the idea is in some details and why do you need a database for it) -- paragraph of a maximum 4 sentences

• Initial entity-sets and relationship-sets you would like to consider. • You name and your team member (if you work in a team) - If you work in a team, just one

member can do the submission.

A. Submit ONE PDF file to the folder titled Step 1 under the D2L Assignments tab, structured as detailed above.

B. This step is due 10:00pm – November 7th. You can submit this step, within 24 hours after this due date, to be graded out of 75% of this step’s grade. After this grace period your late submission will not be accepted.
