Theme1: The significance of major religious traditions or religious conflicts
Why I Chose This Theme?
The period in England's History That Connects Which Connects with This Theme.
Between the years 590 and 604, England was converted into Christianity, which connects with our theme. Missionaries were instructed through a letter by Pope Gregory the Great to Mellitus of 601 to preach the Christian gospel, destroy idols used for worship, and sanctify all temples using holy water blessed by the Pope (Gregory the Great, 601). Despite the order to destroy all idols used for worship, Pope also required all missionaries to carry out his mandate in a peaceful manner as directed by Christianity doctrines.

Theme 2: The significance of the Industrial Revolution or industrialization
Why did you select this concept/theme from the list?
I considered this theme in my selection list because of the massive industrialization taking place in England. England practices many industrial activities; manufacturing industrial products, heavy machinery technology, and gas and oil exploration, among other industrial activities. England is in the top three world large economies whose thrive depends on good leadership and industrialization.

Theme3: The impact of modern warfare (WWI or later)
Why did you select this concept/theme from the list?
England military troops have an exceptional reputation in the whole world. The England military has modern fighting equipment all in the land, air, and sea. Also, the military troop has ensured security and peace across all borders of England. Countries fear England organized troops, and therefore it is rare to find any country deliberately coming to war with England.

England has one remarkable war event, which occurred in the year 1015 up to the year 1016. Knut invaded England, a war that lasted for a whole year. According to (Peter, 2013) this war was promoted by several kings and other respectful leaders. It is reported that Knut sailed to England with a troop ready to wage war. As a result of the Knut attack, England has therefore trained its army to be in a position to withstand all actions and protect the civilians. England's experienced troops have gained a world reputation over the years due to their knowledge of warfare.

Theme 4: The impact of modern globalization on today’s world
Why did you select this concept/theme from the list?
The main reason why I chose this theme is that, in modern Britain, England has maintained its position as the only nation among Scotland and Ireland. England has a queen who controls the whole of Britain. It is evident that England supports globalization, and the benefits of globalization are peace across the nations and increased economic growth over time.

In the year 2003, England and China came into a partnership that strongly supports this globalization theme. According to Guerrero (2019), the main objective of England China collaboration was to increase business operations. The collaboration between these two countries has resulted in plausible economic growth.
