The work got a F.
Thank you for your deliverable 4 resubmission. The feedback below corresponds to each section of the grading rubrics for this deliverable.
Section 1: Grade 2. You must choose a condition and a population which you did correctly on the last concept map (malaria-condition/pregnant women population). You need to do that with this one as well. The main concept is clearly presented and centrally located on the concept map, including the selected condition and the population affected by the condition. You have demonstrated competency in this section of the deliverable.
Section 2: Grade 1. Health disparities are when certain populations do not receive the same treatment as other groups. You must list and then demonstrate why your population might experience unequal treatment. Health disparities impacting the population globally are clearly presented with a detailed description of how they support the main concept
Section 3: Grade 2 . You have not identified a population, so your determinants of health are not presented in a way that links back to a population. At least three pertinent determinants of health are presented in a way that supports the main concept. You have demonstrated competency in this section of the deliverable.
Section 4: Grade 2 You stated: “Environmental sustainability should not be compromised at the expense of meeting dietary needs.” You need to explain that statement and what ethical principle it is an example of and how it relates to your population. At least three ethical considerations are clearly presented in a way that supports the main concept.
Section 5: Grade 1. You stated: “Article 27: Participation in cultural life – The privilege to engage in an individual’s cultural activities is provided for but this should be engaged with caution because some cultural activities facilitate malnutrition issues such as premonition (premonition?)on specific diets.” Are you saying your population is malnourished because of cultural activities they are engaging in? You must clearly connect your population to the human rights you say may be violated. At least three human rights are clearly presented in a way that supports the main concept.
Not choosing a population hurt you in this deliverable
Competency
Integrate social determinants, ethical concerns, and human rights for high-risk and vulnerable global populations.
Scenario
As a nurse on the ethics committee of a free clinic, you are educating staff on a high-risk or vulnerable population in the community. You focus on a health condition that affects the community and also impacts the population globally. To help explain the topic, you plan to show the staff a concept map.
Instructions
Create a concept map showing the relationship of health disparities, pertinent determinants of health, ethical considerations, and human rights for a condition affecting a high-risk or vulnerable population. Your concept map should:
· Identify the main concept (a condition affecting a high-risk or vulnerable population)
· Describe the supporting subtopics of:
. Health disparities impacting the population globally
. Pertinent determinants of health (at least three)
. Ethical considerations (at least three)
. Human rights from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (at least three)
