Fear

Fear is a characteristic, powerful and basic human feeling. Fear is inclusive of a general biochemical reaction that is characterized by an increased personal emotional response. There is a caution of the danger of mischief regardless of whether the risk is mental or physical. However, on some occasions, fear is experienced from threats and fantasy hazards (Kari). It is also characterized as a sign of some mental disorders such as panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, and phobias (Anderson et al 355). Fear has been selected because it consists of both unhealthy and healthy disadvantages. There is the provision for survival instincts that a person needs to keep themselves safe from hazards when fear is programmed into the nervous system (Natalia). Fear can also be unhealthy as it makes one more vigilant than they certainly need to be to remain safe and preventing someone from performing things he/she would otherwise do or find delightful.

In addition, fear was selected as it is an emotion of a feeling that everyone experiences in their lives as it ought’s to be a natural human emotion. How different people handle and conquer their fears is the main issue or they let it have an emotional impact on them. Luckily there are several ways that one can use to manage their fears and many places to seek counseling and assistance (Anderson et al 355). Considering the selection of three work that concerns my topic visual art, poem, and music, I find a painting that was done by Natalia Marinych where she painted fear visual art, the painting is appropriative for the topic as it portrays intense fear expressed by a person when coming out of danger and unable to do something and leave the place (Kari). With fear, there can be induced changes in behavior such as shunning a fun game to extreme issues like being frightened to move out of the house (Kari). There is a poem written by Rico Graham on fear as it is an encouragement to those that have let fear control them or make them lose morale in trying to perform anything (Anderson et al 355). There is also official live music sung by Kari Jobe called no fear which affirms the truth and gives someone motivation or encouragement when feeling worried. The examples given above are relevant as assist on how to handle emotional behavior as well as the effects of anxiety, help in the coping of fear in our day-to-day life.

In conclusion, reading through the poem, fear should be a fundamental human emotion that may aid safeguard an individual from threat and make him/her act. However, it can also result in persistent feelings of anxiety. Discovering techniques to handle your fear might assist in controlling these feelings better and avoid unease from hanging on.
