3. Listed your research questions (RQs). |

4. Written 3000 words +/- 10%. |
|
|
5. Cited a minimum of 10 academic sources using APA referencing. |

6. Listed the sources you have cited in a Reference List in alphabetical order by surname. |

7. Paraphrased effectively (check your similarity score on Turnitin in advance). |
|
|
8. Used quotations where necessary and punctuated them correctly. |
|
|
9. Analysed your sources as well as describing them. |
|

10. Synthesised your sources. |

|
11. Addressed all of your RQs. |
|
|
12. Used headings and sub-headings to organised your work into clear sections. |

13. Used an appropriate academic register and included common features of academic writing (eg. hedging language/nominalisation). |

14. Made effective use of topic-specific vocabulary and provided helpful definitions where necessary. |

15. Proofread your work for spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. |
