1. How do we turn in the Consent Form?
The Consent Form should be submitted however is easiest such as
scan, photograph, incorporate within case study.
2. Is there a minimum word count for the Case Study?
There are no points in the grading rubric attached to the length
of the Case Study.
3. Do I use My Virtual Child to complete the Case Studies?
No, you must observe a real child in the appropriate age range for
each of the observations. Do not use your own children. Observe
children who can obtain access to such as school/center children,
relatives (i.e., nieces/nephews), or friends/neighbor’s children.
Note: You must obtain parental permission with the Case Study
Permission Form.
4. On the Case Study Permission Form, what do I write for
Center or School?
State where the observation was completed such as Hunt
Elementary, ABC Child Care Center, child’s home, my home, etc.
And, for the Alternative Case Study #3 and #4, write movie in
the space provided.
