Class, I suggest you use the instructions as an outline to assist in fully completing the requirements. Below are a few sections of what is required:

Title Page

Introduction

Entrepreneurial Traits must have at least 3 paragraphs which are:

1. Differentiate between an entrepreneur and a small business owner. - see text for insight on differences

2. Discuss how Blodgett demonstrated entrepreneurial traits - If you look in week 4 of the text it gives personal traits of entrepreneur. Not entrepreneur types but the specific characteristics demonstrated. There is a large section on the traits in the text.

3. Discuss the different categories of entrepreneurs and identify which category best fits Blodgett. - Entrepreneur types or categories are also in week 4.

Remember you will have to go to various chapters in the weekly readings. All of the insight will not come from only one section of the weekly readings.

You will have to go to various weeks or various parts of the readings in a specific week. Each of the citations, must include either the section or the paragraph number from where the insight was derived.

Section headings must be used in the paper. The purpose of the case is to demonstrate reading, understanding and application of the course material. Therefore, cite the source of the text insight within the body of the analysis. Several sections or areas of the text are required to effectively support the analysis.

In addition, do not rehash the case. Long summaries of the case are not needed. Only include insight needed to support the response. Cite the case as (Case, 2019).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Help with Project 2

Class the below insight will help with successfully completing Project 2. Use the chapters from this week's readings as well as prior chapters and discussions to garner insight. Use the insight gathered to develop a well thought out analysis for the project. The goal of the case analysis is to demonstrate reading, understanding and mastery of the course content. Ensure the project instructions are read and used to develop a detailed and effective project with support of references.

A good method for ensuing all required insight is included in the analysis is to:

NAME

EXPLAIN

APPLY

Read the instructions, use the instructions as an outline with section headings, name the concept, explain it with references from the text then apply it using insight from the case.

As you develop the case:

1. Ensure only the case and textbook are used to support the analysis. Use all applicable chapters, not just those in this unit.

2. The case and textbook MUST be cited in the body of the case and the textbook chapters used cited in full APA format at the end.

3. Section headings MUST be used in the analysis.

4. No outside sources are permitted

5. At least a paragraph of insight must be provided for each required area

6. Use the grading rubric while completing the exercise to ensure all requirements are met

7. Paper is 3 - 4 pages

Use the required elements as section headings in the paper, which are: (this is a requirement)

· Introduction

· Entrepreneurial Traits

· Economics

· Conclusion

· NOTE: Each of these larger sections have multiple topics that must be completed. For example in the Entrepreneurial Traitssection there are several areas that must be described per the assignment instructions. A paragraph of insight for each must be included. For example:

· Differences between entrepreneur and small business owner

· Entrepreneur - 4 traits each explained in detail

· Small Business Owner - 4 traits - each explained in detail

· Explain how she exhibited entrepreneur traits - explain how she exhibited the 4 traits above

8. Developing an outline of the paper using the project instructions can prove helpful for ensuring all required sections of the paper are complete

PAPER SECTIONS

Use the instructions to make an outline to ensure all requirements are complete

1. Introduction -  At least a paragraph of insight that describes to the reader the intent of the paper. It must explain the main points covered in the paper. Review each of the prior weeks' chapters for insight. Paying close attention to the "The Putting it Together Sections" in the text will help with developing a comprehensive analysis for the project.

2. Entrepreneurial Traits - At least a paragraph of insight must be included for the 3 bullets in this section

We learned about entrepreneurs and small business owners in week 4 of the text. You should go back to the week 4 readings to gather insight on the differences between entrepreneurs and small businesses. Look for insight such as personal characteristics and lifestyles as well as contributions to the economy. Although these terms may appear synonymous, they are not.  As CEO of Bare Escentuals, Leslie Blodgett could be depicted as an entrepreneur.

The text should be cited at least once in each of these paragraphs. So at least 3 citations should be in this section.

Use the course material to support your ideas and reasoning:

· Differentiate between an entrepreneur and a small business owner.

· Discuss how Blodgett demonstrated entrepreneurial traits.

· Discuss the different categories of entrepreneurs and identify which category best fits Blodgett.

3. Economics -  At least a paragraph of insight must be included for the 2 bullets in this section

We learned from the text in Week 2 how businesses contribute to the economy. The chapter on the "Health of the Economy" details how the nation's GDP is calculated and which factors affect it. We also learn in Week 2's readings how supply and demand affects the business bottom line. Reviewing the chapters in Week 2 can assist with developing a clear analysis in this section.

In week 4 we learn which factors can affect consumers' willingness to purchase certain products. Think about what makes this product better than the competition and why consumers are willing to buy Bare Escentuals over other similar products in the market.

In Week 5's chapters we learn why management is important and how management affects the business bottom line.

Use the case and insight from the text to develop an analysis to :

· Discuss how Bare Escentuals most likely contributed to the economy in the 1990’s;

· What factors of production affected the demand for Bare Escentuals products?

4. Conclusion -  At least a paragraph of insight must be included for the 2 bullets in this section

Write a concluding paragraph that is brief and summarizes the main points.  Provide specific information related to each of the major sections or the Introduction, Entrepreneurial Traits and Economics sections of the paper.

NOTE: Ensure each of the above steps is followed to develop a project that demonstrates reading, understanding and a clear analysis of the case and course chapters.
