• IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES, THERE HAS BEEN A STARTLING RISE OF DIABETES DIAGNOSIS. IN 2010, THERE WERE 26 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE US WITH DIABETES, BY 2015 THAT NUMBER HAD INCREASED TO 30.3 MILLION. (CDC, 2017).
