Human Interaction 5 HCI tools/products
1. Calculators that you speak into in order to input data. This could be used by anyone who does a lot of math, especially accountants. This would save them time and it could also save data. What motivated me is all the math classes I have taken in my lifetime. I have thought that it wasted a little time to have a pen to write with and then stop to punch in numbers. The product could be called Talk 2 Calc.
2. Sandwich bags that are refrigerators. This technology would be used by anyone who takes a sandwich to on the go. This technology is important because someone wouldn’t have to worry about making a cooler before work. It also would cut down on plastic waste. I thought of this because my husband works outside and this way he could keep his sandwich in the car while he’s working. The name could be Coolbags.
3. A hose that automatically washes your windshield or car window. It would be a device that notices that your windshield is covered in bugs and automatically washes it really well for you. This would be used by anyone who drives. It would be better than what we have now, because it would get the bug off before it dries on there. Or if a bird poops on it while you are in a building, it would wash it off for you. It could be called Grime Gone.
5. Clothes that clean themselves without water. This would be used by anyone. It could be started as a non-profit and people could donate them to homeless or people in third world countries. What motivated me to think of this is that it would save water and benefit others who do not have a washing machine, or it may be the only shirt they own. The product could be called Washee.
