Ethics final project
PAPER PROMPT:
Paper Portion (30% of Overall Grade)
Please write a paper in response to the following:
· Explore a “unique” firm’s (of your choosing) distinct ethical practice[s] in detail while drawing upon the many points that we will have covered in class and per the required readings throughout the term. Provide a short summary about the company’s founding/history and then describe some of the distinctive features that set/s the company apart, ethically speaking that is.
Too, please proof read as you write and make sure you reference outside sources. On a paper like this. If you are a tad rusty at writing these kinds of papers here is a very helpful link that I have given my students over the
years: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/658/1/
The paper needs to have a Cover Page, 6-8 full pages (double-spaced) of written text (INTRO>BODY>CONCLUSION), and a Bibliography Page. In sum, and with the additional Cover and Bibliography pages, y'all should be handing in anywhere from 8-10 pages really.
· How will you I be graded on the Paper?
· Like the midterm, you will be graded for (see attached rubric):
· Organization
· Level of Content
· Development
· Grammar and Mechanics
· Style
· Format
It is due by Monday, March 4th, at the beginning of class. Unless you have an accommodation, absolutely no late papers will be accepted after this point. A hard copy is expected. Further, please note that, again, I grade rather heavily on these and that you will want to give it your all. Because I don't inundate my students with busy work during the term (although you might feel otherwise) I tend to treat the Midterm and Final as the core of your graded work in this course.
