PLAGIARISM consists of presenting someone else's words or ideas as your own. It does not consist only of word-for-word copying. If you are in any doubt about whether your research is crossing the line into plagiarism, the safe thing to do is simply to cite all sources. If you are still in doubt about whether you are doing research or committing plagiarism, come to see me. Plagiarism will result in a failing grade for the course, and prosecution through the College judicial system. This may result in suspension or expulsion from the College.
