Why should I invest in your company? Why should I mentor you in your new company? Dream Job: Start my own tech startup I have been interested in technology ever since a young age and what intrigues me is the constant innovation in the industry. However, my background is in business and, specifically, accounting. So to fulfill the other half that I am lacking, a strong background in technology, I am looking for your investment and mentorship. What I can offer are my experiences in business and the different jobs I have worked in the past. My previous work has provided me with experience in working and collaborating with others, leadership skills, decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. Though these are common skills for people to have, what sets me apart is my personality and business experiences. I have always been a self-starter, and I have showcased that by constantly finding different ways to make money. In middle school, I sold candy to other students to make some spare change. That lead to me starting a youtube channel to earn advertising revenue in the booming online video entertainment industry. Later on, in high school, I discovered the world of reselling clothes and shoes for profit, which has become a permanent side business for me. Around the same time, I began learning about the stock market and how to use the stock market to make money. Then, in college, I started my own clothing brand but unfortunately didn’t work out as planned. I realized I underestimated the importance of marketing and branding while entering the competitive clothing industry. However, what’s important to me is that experiencing failure is simply a lesson learned and not a reason for me to give up. My point is, I have the spirit of an entrepreneur that is driven by the idea of success, financial freedom, and failure not being an option. This is apart of my mentality and applies to everything that I do. I want to see this through because running my own business is what I have been working towards my entire life. With my past experiences and passion for business and your experience in the technology industry, together, we will innovate to change the world.
