During the course, the Session Long Projects will involve reading, researching, and discussing various topics and how they relate to a specific K-12 school district, community college, or university. Since you will need to relate your readings and research to the organization you select, you should select an organization that posts much of their data and information on their website.

Locate the Strategic Plan for your organization, unit, or department. For SLP 1, write a 3- to 5-page paper analyzing the Strategic Plan of the organization you selected, with specific references to the readings assigned. Specifically, identify and analyze the following components of a Strategic Plan:

· Foundation (mission statement)

· Supporting Components (values, institutional goals, vision)

· Strategic Plan (goals and objectives, implementation plan)
