Part I

Candidates will present a PowerPoint presentation describing in detail one (1) of the Diagnosis found in the DSM 5. You will want to use your DSM 5, and your text book. In addition, you might want to consult the American Psychiatric Association for additional information. You will include the history of the disorder,  symptoms in detail, diagnostic criteria, prevalence, sociocultural factors, and any age perimeters, and gender related issues.  Cover possible specifiers if included in the diagnosis with rationale for each. All potential co-occurring diagnoses, all diagnoses that can’t be used with this diagnosis.  Include suicide risk and functional consequences of this disorder.  

Do not choose "Other Unspecified Disorder."  Presentation must be at least 30 slides long including an introductory slide and your references.  Include at least four references.  Use APA format for your references and any quotations. 

Part II

Build a Treatment Plan for a person with the diagnosis in the power point above. You can use the attached form or one that is similar.
