Dress code is very important for everyone in their field of work. The very first impression is important since it is one that lasts, be in the office, a date, an interview or a party. Some of us keep in mind people better by what they were wearing when we first saw them. Dress code in any of these events can either give a positive or a negative impression of ourselves. Customers and clients are visual beings and if they do not possess the professionalism in the person serving them, then how can they believe that the services being offered to them are believable and professional.

Firstly, it is essential to have a dress code that presents professionalism. This is because a dress code attracts attention. A uniform and decent dress code draws the attention away from the office attention seekers.

A dress code benefits in creates a positive impression. It helps in shaping the way in which a client recognizes a professional for business dress code is a reflection of the type of business it is and its standards.

Dress code restricts creativity among the staff. A dress code kills the spirit of creativity, and it may feel restrictive to many people, as a result affecting the performance of the business. It can cause dullness of wearing the same thing over again and stress as one tries to figure out what to wear to look professional.

In conclusion, a dress code is both an important factor for business, and at the same time, it has its downside.
